Cypher 50th anniversary

The Cyphers in 1958

Edward and Dolores Cypher of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage with a Mass, dinner and reception with family and friends Aug. 9 in Chicora.

Cypher married the former Dolores Ritzert on Aug. 9, 1958, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in North Oakland.

They have five children, Cindy Mackrell of Chicora, Bonnie Adams of Karns City, Alesa Osche of Butler, Diane Fiegl of Jacksonville, Fla., and Edward Cypher of Chicora.

They also have 10 grandchildren and one step-grandchild.

Cypher is retired from T.W. Phillips Gas, where he worked for 33 years. He belongs to the Butler County Horseshoe League, Moose Golf League, V.F.W., R.C. Men's Club, Happy Hunters, American Legion and the East Butler Firemen.

Mrs. Cypher is retired from the U.S. Postal Service, where she worked for 27 years. She enjoys her family, golf, bingo and reading.

The couple are members of St. John Catholic Church of Coylesville.
