David D. Soule

David D. Soule, 79, of Butler died Saturday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Chicora, May 2, 1929, he was a son of the late George F. and Dorothy Emminger Soule.

Dave was the retired president and co-owner of the Butler American Sales-AMC/Jeep dealership, a family owned and operated business in Butler for 50 years.

He was a member of the Meridian United Presbyterian Church.

He loved to travel and most enjoyed spending time among his family and especially his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Stotish Soule, who he married Sept. 17, 1953; two sons, Brian D, Soule and his wife, Lisa, and Bruce A. Soule, both of Butler; a grandson, Ryan Soule; two granddaughters, Erin and Alexandra Soule; and a brother, Robert L. Soule of Butler.

<B>SOULE </B>— Friends of David D. Soule, who died Saturday, July 12, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A family friend, the Rev. Walter Hehman, a retired Methodist minister, will officiate. Interment will follow at the Butler County Memorial Park cemetery.The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Meridian United Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave., Butler, PA 16001; or the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Memorial Processing Center, 777 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.Additional information can be found and condolence messages placed at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
