Larry J. Peters, 66, of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Steubenville, Ohio, died Friday at the Ocala Regional Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 18, 1941, in Kittanning, a son of the late Walter and Mary Margaret Helm Peters.

He was a Presbyterian.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bonnie L. Peters.

Surviving are his wife, Judith Ann "Judy" Foster Peters; two sons, David Peters of Kittanning and Matthew Peters of Glendale, Ariz.; a brother, Thomas (Terry) Peters of Butler; a sister, Sonie (Bob) Mervis of Kittanning; and a grandson, Joshua Chociej.

Peters, who died Friday, July 18, 2008, was held from 10 a.m. to noon today at the <B>Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home,</B> Wintersville, Ohio, where services followed at noon with the Rev.
