2:40 p.m. Saturday — Vehicles driven by Dorianne Odosso, 36, of Rural Valley, Armstrong County, and Chad Mealey, 29, of Petrolia collided on New Castle Road at the Moraine Pointe Plaza exit ramp. Police said Odosso was cited for an undisclosed traffic citation.8:37 a.m. Saturday — Two people were injured when vehicles driven by Dolores Brady, 80, of Evans City and Angela Custer, 42, of Chicora collided in the Butler Commons shopping center. Custer and a passenger in her car, Jennifer Pizer, 18, of Butler, suffered minor injuries.5:26 a.m. Saturday — Frank James Anderson Jr., 21, of McKeesport, Allegheny County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car crashed into the McDonald's restaurant drive-thru on New Castle Road.Police said that Anderson also faces charges for driving without a license and careless driving.4:06 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Katherine Rickel, no age given, of Butler and a van driven by Deborah Kuhn, no age given, of Mars collided at Route 8 and Litman Road. Rickel's vehicle, following the collision, struck a car, driven by Bernard Flugher, no age given, of Cranberry Township, then stopped for a red light.9:54 p.m. Wednesday — Allen Alwine, no age given, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI after he was stopped driving through Alameda Park after the park hours.

Monday — Police filed felony drug charges against two women stemming from a search of their Russell Road home last week that uncovered five suspected marijuana plants measuring 5 feet in height.Charged with five counts of manufacture of a controlled substance and conspiracy, all felonies, are Angelic Carey, 39, and Melissa Sue Yuhas, 24.Additionally, Carey is charged with child endangerment, five counts of possession of a controlled substance and 18 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.Yuhas also is charged with five counts of possession of a controlled substance and 10 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.Also charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia in the same case is Matthew D. Anderson, 19, of Zelienople.

11:55 a.m. Sunday — Owen Bittner, 43, of Butler was hurt when his bicycle struck the front bumper of a minivan on Route 8 near Volkswood Road in Center Township. Bittner, who was wearing a bike helmet, fell off his bicycle and suffered minor bruises to his arm and leg.Police said Bittner was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation. Gary A. Smith, 59, of Renfrew was driving the van.Sunday — A white, 1990 Jackson Warrior guitar valued at $2,300 and a box of miscellaneous electronic equipment were reported stolen from the Cooper Street Apartments in Slippery Rock. Joshua Elvey of Altoona, Blair County, owns the property that was taken between Aug. 17 and Sunday.3:45 p.m. Saturday — An unknown suspect tried unsuccessfully to break into the North Pike Road home of Jacob Timko in Sarver. Police said the would-be burglar ran off after the alarm system was activated.Saturday — A red lawn tractor, two old push mowers and a large steel pipe were stolen from North Washington Road in Washington Township. Richard J. Campbell of West Sunbury owns the stolen items that were taken between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m.4:35 p.m. Friday — A sport utility vehicle driven by Ryan S. Pugh, 34, of Parker pulled in front of a state police cruiser on Route 38 inVenango Township. Trooper Brandon Yeager, who was driving the cruiser on an emergency call with its lights and siren on, was unable to avoid colliding with the SUV.Apolice report said neither driver was injured but both vehicles sustained "significant damage." Police said Pugh was cited for making an improper turn.4 p.m. Friday — Three Venango County residents were caught allegedly stealing scrap material from property at Unity and Eakin roads in Cherry Valley. Facing theft and conspiracy charges, police said, are April Christina Ferguson, 21, of Emlenton; and Michael Alan Rose, 22, and Robert H.A. Boyer, 32, both of Clintonville.11:17 a.m. Friday — Sport utility vehicles driven by Brenda L. Negley, 44, and Brent Ohl, 36, both of Freeport, collided on Route 356 near Darby Lane in Winfield Township. Police said Negley was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Friday — Crops were damaged by vandals riding all-terrain vehicles through a corn field on Brewer Road in Clinton Township. Robert Stull owns the property that was damaged between Aug. 18 and Friday.

Monday — A summons was issued for a Grove City man accused of trying to obtain oxycodone from two Pine Township pharmacies using bogus prescriptions between Aug. 4 and 13. Philip J. Hoffman, 22, is charged with three counts of forgery as well as possession of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property.7:55 p.m. Sunday — A youth, who police did not identify, is accused of shoplifting $229 worth of merchandise from the Wal-Mart store in Pine Township, Police said the suspect faces a charge of retail theft in juvenile court.
