Lorraine E. McClymonds, 84, of Butler died Wednesday afternoon at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Butler, Nov. 16, 1923, a daughter of the late Albert and Myrtle Plunkard Strobel.

Lorraine retired in 1986 from the Magnetics plant in East Butler, where she had worked for 20 years.

She had been a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

She most loved spending time with her children and enjoying her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are five daughters, Lorrie Goss (Tony) of Butler, Leslie George (Waid) of Butler, Leigh Binsack (James) of Slippery Rock, Lynn Coe (Robert) of Evans City and Lisa Bilowich (Andy) of Butler; a brother, Kenneth Strobel of Butler; 11 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A brother and a sister preceded her in death.

<B>McCLYMONDS </B>— Friends of Lorraine E. McClymonds, who died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Butler.The St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will recite the rosary at 10:40 a.m. Saturday at the church.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
