Betty L. Barr, 80, of Butler died at 11:55 a.m. Friday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia Care.

She was born Sept. 28, 1927, in Butler, the daughter of the late Les Angert and the late Thelma Noullet Angert.

She was a housewife and mother of three wonderful children, two of whom survive, a daughter, Linda Biffaretti of Renfrew; a son, James L. Barr and his wife, Deborah, of Butler; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Barr, who died March 4, 2005; a son, Thomas E. Barr; two grandsons, Matthew Barr and John Biffaretti; a sister, Dorothy Heitzer; and two great granddaughters.

<B>BARR</B> — Friends of Betty L. Barr, who died Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>Young Funeral Home, Ltd.</B>, Butler. Services will be held at 11 a.m Tuesday at the funeral home. with the Rev. Dennis Krajacic of Community Alliance Church officiating. Interment will be in the Greenlawn Burial Estates.Donations may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia at 134 Marwood Road, Cabot PA 16023.Information is available at www.youngfuneralhomes.com.
