Sonny of Prospect lost his horrendous battle with brain cancer in his home with close family members by his side Friday, Sept. 5, 2008.

Born Aug. 7, 1939, in Butler, he was the son of Raymond Dean and Alice Jane (Torrence) Fair of Prospect.

He was retired from J.D. Lamison Drilling in Prospect.

Officiating in last rights and in time of need and providing support was Pastor Jeff Miller of Prospect.

Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Diana L. Fair (Campbell); a daughter, Jolene Fair Gallagher (Chad); a grandson, Justin Dailey; a son, Quinten Fair (Jennifer); a granddaughter, Yazmine Fair; a brother-in-law, Duane (Mike) Campbell and his wife, Donna; and a special family friend, Dawn and Gordon Cratty.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
