Robert E. Brothers Jr., 30, of Butler died Tuesday at his home after an illness.

He was born July 21, 1978, in Butler, the son of Robert E. Brothers of Butler and Tammie (Domhoff) Burr of Butler.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, target shooting and texting his fiancée. He collected knives and coins.

He attended Butler High School. He had worked at American Eagle Outfitters as an assistant supervisor in housekeeping/facilities.

Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Tammy and Paul Burr of Butler; his father and stepmother, Robert and Ellen Brothers of Butler; his fiancée, Amy Raisley of Butler; his maternal grandfather, Robert Domhoff of Punxsutawney; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandmother.

<B>BROTHERS</B> — Friends of Robert E. Brothers Jr., who died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and from 6:30 until service at 8:30 p.m. Friday at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. The Rev. Jeffrey A. Curtis of Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church will officiate.
