Marie Kornrumph
Marie Kornrumph, 87, of Butler died at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the Clarion Forest Visiting Nurses Association Hospice, Shippenville.
Born Feb. 22, 1921, in Coaltown, she was the daughter of the late Loyd Kelly and the late May Conway Kelly.
Mrs. Kornrumph formerly was a sales person for Montgomery Ward. Before her marriage, she had worked at the A&P grocery store in Slippery Rock.
She was a member of the Unionville United Presbyterian Church.
She bowled up until shortly before her death in the Coins League and in the Early Birds League at Family Bowlaway.
Mrs. Kornrumph was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil C. Kornrumph. They were married Jan. 17, 1947. He passed away May 19, 2007.
She is survived by one daughter, Beverly (Roger) Engle of Knox; a grandson, Edward Engle of Gaithersburg, Md.; three sisters, Anna May Sutton of Charleston, S.C., Jean (Edward) McGill of Slippery Rock and Donna Ord of Slippery Rock; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
