George T. Cudoc

George T. Cudoc, 80, of Saxonburg, formerly of Penn Township, died Tuesday.

Born April 16, 1928, in Marianna, Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late George and Nellie (Chapas) Cudoc.

A U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean Conflict, George was a longtime driver for Davison Sand & Gravel in Etna.

He loved hunting, fishing, the Steelers and Pirates, was a skilled woodworker, and spent many years involved in youth baseball and football with his children.

He was the beloved husband for 56 years of Mary Frances (Nave) Cudoc, who he married Feb. 1, 1952; father of Kathleen (Dennis) Ballish of Beaver Falls, George (Aileen) Cudoc Jr. of Valencia, Eileen (Dale) Cearfoss of New Castle, Pauline (Jeff) Holmes of Newburg, Md., Martin (Kim) Cudoc of Columbus, Ohio, and Patty (Steve) Gray of Butler; and brother of Ruth Boff of Pittsburgh. Also surviving are 11 dear grandchildren.

<B>CUDOC</B> — The family of George T. Cudoc, who died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Sepulcher Church with the Rev. Daniel Maurer as celebrant. Interment with military honors will follow in the Brownsdale Cemetery, Penn Township.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the VNA Hospice, 154 Hindman Road, Butler, PA 16001.Please add a condolence at www.schellhaasfh.com.
