Mary Ann Marsden Sampey, 68, of Marshall Township, formerly of Plum and Uniontown, died Tuesday.

Mary Ann was a teacher in the Plum School District for 28 years.

She was the beloved wife of Chandler LaMar Sampey; loving mother of Scott (Dayna) and Marla (R.J.) Melnyk; devoted grandmother of five; and daughter of the late James and Mary Francis Nixon Marsden.

<B>SAMPEY</B> — Friends of Mary Ann Marsden Sampey, who died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY</B>, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township, 724-772-8800, and from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at the A.D. Ferguson Funeral Home, Uniontown. Interment will follow at Sylvan Heights Cemetery in Uniontown.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Victory Christian Fellowship or the American Cancer Society.
