Mary Ellen Hutzler Mangol, 77, of Sarver went to be with the Lord early today after a short illness.

Born April 10, 1931, in Saxonburg, she was the daughter of Harold Hutzler Sr. and Mildred Johnston Hutzler.

She worked at Moonlight Mushroom as payroll supervisor, retiring in 1988 after 34 years.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot.

She enjoyed her home, working crossword puzzles, listening to her favorite music and caring for her flowers.

Surviving are four loving sisters, Rita Chambers of Kearny, Ariz., Shirley Pitlock of Saxonburg, Florence Bricker of Beaver Falls and Janet (Floyd) Kravits of Mystic, Conn; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Jack Mangol in July 1988; a brother, Harold Hutzler Jr.; and one sister, Kay Steighner.

A special thanks is given to the caregivers at Good Samaritan Hospice for the love and concern they showed to Mary and her sisters.

<B>MANGOL</B> — Friends of Mary Ellen Hutzler Mangol, who died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot. Interment will follow in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road Cabot, PA 16023.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
