Thelma Marie Stephenson Horne Kline, 82, of Butler went to be with her Lord Wednesday morning.

She was born Feb. 9, 1926, in Franklin Township and was the daughter of Ralph and Lois M. Weitzel Stephenson.

She drove a school bus for Bryan Brothers of Prospect, and she worked at the Prospect Corner Store for 23 years. Early on, she had worked at the former Kmart and Morgan's Wonder Boy Restaurant as a waitress.

She also enjoyed working as a foster grandparent at Head Start in Franklin Township.

She graduated from Butler High School in January 1945.

Mrs. Kline recently was recognized as a lifetime member at the Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church's 150th anniversary.

She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, making baby clothes for her grandchildren and working with flowers.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Horne (Charles Jr.) Cranmer of Butler; and three sons, William G. Horne (Jackie) of Michigan, Francis R. Horne of Florida and Roy A. Horne of Butler and their father, F.G. Horne of Butler. She also is survived by her stepchildren, Rick (Sue) Kline of Texas, Linda (Ken) McGinn of Midway, Steve (Jeannie) Kline of Butler, Gary (Kathy) Kline of Tennessee, Chris (Bill) Schramm of Franklin Township and Mike (Marcia) Kline of Prospect; seven grandchildren; 18 step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 25 step-great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by Russell M. Kline, whom she married in August 1988 and who passed away Oct. 22, 2006; her parents; and five brothers.

<B>KLINE</B> — Family and friends of Thelma Kline, who died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home</B>, 387 Main St., Prospect. The funeral service will follow at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeffrey Curtis, her church pastor, officiating. Interment will be private at the Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.Memorial contributions can be made to the Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 W.
