Joseph A. Lang Jr.
Joseph A. Lang Jr., 80, of Saxonburg died Saturday at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center.
Born Feb. 22, 1928, in Saxonburg, he was the son of Joseph A. Lang Sr. and Minnie Mae Johnston Lang.
He was a tool and die maker for Du-Co Ceramics, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot.
He enjoyed woodworking, blacksmithing, fishing, hunting and baseball.
Surviving are his wife, Caroline Isabel Silvis Lang, whom he married Dec. 2, 1949; two sons, Larry Lang of Locust Grove, Va., and Ronald (Lori) Lang of Saxonburg; two daughters, Belinda (Donald) Leslie of Saxonburg and Danette (Carl) Klabnik of Saxonburg; two brothers, Conrad (Cheryl) Lang Sr. of Saxonburg and Norman (Kathy) Lang of Saxonburg; his sister, Delores Jenkins of Harrisville; and five grandchildren, Bradley Lang, Sarah Lang, Bryan Lang, Brandon Lang and Matthew Leslie.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a daughter-in-law, Nanci Lang.
<B>LANG </B>— Friends of Joseph A. Lang Jr., who died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
