Michael Crifaci of Butler recently returned from his second tour of duty in Iraq.He was stationed at Mosul, Iraq, with the 4th Infantry Division. He was promoted to sergeant Jan. 1 and is based at Fort Carson, Colo.He is the son of Vince Crifaci of Butler and Cathi Erb of Cranberry Township.———Air National Guard Staff Sgt.

Stephanie McElhaney participated in the presidential inauguration Jan. 20.McElhaney, an intelligence analyst, is a member of the 171st Air Refueling Wing, Pittsburgh. She is the daughter of Don and Louella McElhaney of Fenelton.The guardsman graduated in 2002 from Karns City High School, and received an associate degree in 2008 from the Community College of the Air Force.
