Dolores B. Caldwell

Dolores B. Caldwell, 82, of Latrobe died Saturday in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.

She was born June 2, 1926, in Kecksburg, a daughter of the late Lawrence T. and Erma Weaver Barnhart.

Dolores was a member of Latrobe United Methodist Church and a 1947 graduate from Latrobe Hospital Nursing School. She had worked as a private duty nurse for many years.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph L. Caldwell Jr.; two sisters, Geraldine Mowry and Gale Loucks; and three brothers, Donald, Simon and Ray Barnhart.

Dolores is survived by her loving family of four daughters, Susan Welty and her husband, George, of Ligonier, Barbara Waugaman and her husband, Roy, of Evans City, Kathleen Paul and her husband, Bernard, of Latrobe and Joanne Johnson and her husband, William, of Pittsburgh; her sister, Jane Chamberlain and her husband, Jay, of Latrobe; nine grandchildren, Doug and his wife Jen Welty, Megan Welty, Jamie Ellen, Jason and his wife Kacie Waugaman, Kevin Paul, Jennifer and her husband Adam Mills and Aaron, Adam and Ryan Johnson; six great-grandchildren, Austin, Jonah and Sophie Waugaman and Hayden, Taylor and Ashlyn Mills; and many loving nieces, nephews and good friends.

<B>CALDWELL</B> — Friends of Dolores B. Caldwell, who died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at <B>McCabe Funeral Home</B>, 300 W. Third Ave., Derry. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Latrobe United Methodist Church with her pastor, the Rev. David J. Henderson, officiating.
