Phyllis G. Startzell

Phyllis G. Startzell, 95, of Butler died at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Born May 31, 1913, in Punxsutawney, she was the daughter of the late Rawl C. Startzell and the late Hazel E. Gray Startzell.

Mrs. Startzell was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Startzell is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Frederick L. (Georgenia) Crawford of Butler; three granddaughters, Dacia Como of Butler, Manda Rensel of Butler and Triste Crawford of Renfrew; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Startzell was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Startzell, who passed away July 8, 1989; and also by four sisters.

<B>STARTZELL</B> — Friends of Phyllis G. Startzell, who died Sunday, Feb. 1, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. J. David Panther of the First United Methodist Church officiating.
