Terry L. Stewart

Terry L. Stewart, 55, of Hilliards passed away unexpectedly at 8 a.m. Tuesday at his home.

He was born Aug. 1, 1953, in Hilliards. He was the son of the late William C. Stewart and the late Bernice McDaniel Stewart.

He was a self-employed mechanic and a lifelong farmer. He loved playing the guitar.

He is survived by his wife, Dorcas "Dorrie" J. Bell Stewart, whom he married Nov. 23, 1977; three daughters, Mrs. Wesley (Tabitha) Bowser of Hilliards, Amanda Stewart of Butler and Mrs. Brian (Jessica) Swope of Plain Grove; two granddaughters, Emma and Maggie Bowser; three sisters, Mrs. Gary (Mary) Stoops of Grove City, Mrs. Michael (Linda) Eiler of Petrolia and Mrs. Richard (Sally) Fink of Hilliards; three brothers, Ronald Stewart of Hilliards, Larry Stewart of Slippery Rock and Donald E. Stewart of West Sunbury; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

<B>STEWART </B>— Friends of Terry L. Stewart, who died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wade Berkey of the Ridgeville Methodist Church officiating. The Rev. Kathleen Soltis, former pastor of the Ridgeville Methodist Church, will assist. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the family.
