Jeanne C. Litzenberg

Jeanne C. Litzenberg, 69, of Hooker passed away Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family following a courageous 10-year battle with cancer.

She was born March 15, 1939, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was the daughter of the late Harold Schnell and Edla Nelson Schnell.

She was a nurse at the Chicora Medical Center for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Litzenberg; five children, Bonnie Hempfling of Petrolia, Sheila Sosigian of West Sunbury, Sheri Hepner of West Sunbury, Kirby Litzenberg of Hooker and Carla O'Bannon of Port Orange, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister, Kathy Hill of Texas; one brother, Mike Schnell of California; two sisters-in-law, Kathy Stiehler of Karns City and Verlee Miller of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

<B>LITZENBERG </B>— Friends of Jeanne C. Litzenberg, who died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Private burial in the Concord Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
