Floyd E. 'Fuzzy' Shute

Floyd E. "Fuzzy" Shute, 76, of Callery passed away Sunday evening at the UPMC Passavant Hospital, North Hills.

Mr. Shute was born July 21, 1932, in Kissinger Mills, Jefferson County. He was the son of the late Floyd A. and Ida (Plyer) Shute.

He was employed at M.S.A. in the fabrication department for 38 years.

Mr. Shute was Protestant by faith.

He served in the Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Shute was a member of American Legion Post 219 of Evans City, the Evans City-Harmony VFW Post 499 and the Mars Rod and Gun Club. He was an avid bowler.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Ronnie (Jenifer) Karn of West View, Mrs. Steven (Lori) Sanders of Meriden, Conn., Mrs. JoRon (Tawnya) Gandy of Connoquenessing; two brothers, Lawrence W. Shute of Tennessee and Allen F. Shute of Butler; two sisters, Lucille Cain of Butler and Dorothy Dejeet of Monessen; and four grandsons.

Mr. Shute was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kay Huffman Shute, who died June 28, 2005.

<B>SHUTE</B> — Friends and relatives of Floyd E. "Fuzzy" Shute, who died Sunday, March 8, 2009, are invited to a memorial service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, Inc.</B>, 328 W. Main St., Evans City. The Rev. Ellen Campbell of Crestview Presbyterian Church will be officiating.The family has requested memorial donations be made to the Evans City-Harmony VFW Post 499, 408 N.
