Robert Leo Altman

Robert Leo Altman, 71, of Cabot died Thursday at Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born March 15, 1937, in West Winfield, he was the son of Arthur and Beatrice Bachman Altman.

He served in the U.S. Army in Korea during peacetime.

He was retired from Moonlight Mushroom, where he had worked in the maintenance department.

He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot.

Surviving are his son, Bryan L. (Karla) Altman of Harmony; a brother, Clyde Altman of Cabot; two sisters, Rita (Ben) Hoffman of Renfrew and Edna (Dean) Morrow of Fenelton; and four grandsons, Sean, Ryan, Justin and Christopher Altman.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Loretta Sue Watkins Altman, who died Jan. 1, 2004; a son, Brent Lee Altman; and a brother, Dale Altman.

<B>ALTMAN</B> — Friends of Robert Leo Altman, who died Thursday, March 12, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Fox Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot.
