Rihel

Glenn A. Rihel, 46, of West Liberty Road, Slippery Rock, Brady Township, died at 12:10 p.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital after suffering with an illness since July 7, 2008.

Born Aug. 18, 1962, in Grove City, he was the son of Ralph E. and Margaret A. Frey Rihel.

He was a metal fabricator and welder at Woodward Inc., in Mars, for the past 15 years.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Butler.

He graduated from Slippery Rock High School, Class of 1980. He liked fishing and bowling, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He married Cynthia A Hague on Sept. 26, 1981. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Brittany Rihel; a son, John Rihel; his parents of Butler; three sisters, Kathy Keppel and her husband, Denny, of Butler, Barbara Martz and her husband, Bob, of Butler, and Judy Ansell and her husband, Keith, of Prospect; and two brothers, Paul Rihel and his wife, Kathy, of Slippery Rock, and Joe Rihel of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

<B>RIHEL</B>— Funeral services for Glenn A. Rihel, who died Thursday, March 12, 2009, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, with the Rev. Thomas M. Pierotti, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating.Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>Cunningham Funeral Home</B>, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.Burial will be at Prairie Cemetery, Harrisville.
