Elizabeth "Betty" Drennen

Elizabeth "Betty" Drennen of Slippery Rock will celebrate her 90th birthday with a family dinner.

The former Betty Kelly was born May 10, 1919, in Slippery Rock. She married Thomas Drennen April 30, 1948. He is deceased.

She has four children, Timothy Drennen of Slippery Rock, Tom "Tucker" Drennen of Niwot, Colo.; Tara Pizor of Slippery Rock and Tamara Miller of Butler. She also has six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Drennen, as a homemaker, belongs to the American Legion Auxiliary in Slippery Rock and served in the Women's Army Corps in World War II at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio.

Mrs. Drennen belongs to North Liberty United Presbyterian Church.
