Elizabeth M. Logan, 80, of Cabot died Tuesday at Allegheny General Hospital.

Born April 10, 1929, in Lowellville, Ohio, she was the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Matulia) Lucovich.

She worked for Moonlight Mushrooms and was a housekeeper for Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot, where she was very active.

An avid bingo player, she enjoyed traveling, and she loved to polka dance with her brothers and sisters.

Surviving are her sons, Robert E. Logan of Saxonburg and John (Laura) T. Logan of Cabot; her daughters, Sandra (Mark) Sims of Worthington and Judith (Shawn) Henkel of Cabot; four brothers, Joseph (Zelma) Lucovich of Worthington, John Lucovich of Sarver, Pete (Rose Marie) Lucovich of Meridian, Miss., and Frank (Marilyn) Lucovich of Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters, Ruby Krchnavy of Brackenridge, Rose Morrow of Natrona Heights and Mary (William) Majetich of Newberry, Ohio; six grandchildren, Bobbi Lee (Brett) Johns, Jason (Brooke Johns) Sims, Samantha Logan, Alyssa Logan, Shawna Henkel and Taylor Henkel; four great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Sims, Brettlyn Johns, Jason Sims and Jaden Sims.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Herman Wendell Logan Sr. on Nov. 29, 1992; one son, Herman W. Logan Jr., on Jan. 31, 1995; and a sister Anne Schreckengost.

<B>LOGAN</B> — Friends of Elizabeth M. Logan, who died Tuesday, April 28, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Ward Stakem, O.F.M. Cap., officiating. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Coylesville.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
