Ilo J. Riddle
Ilo J. Riddle, 82, a resident of Orchard Manor in Grove City for the past three years, died at 2:25 p.m. Wednesday at the Grove City Medical Center. She formerly lived in Harrisville.
Born in Pioneer, Ohio, Feb. 2, 1927, she was the daughter of A.J. "Attie" Owen and M. Alice (Wagner) Owen.
She was a homemaker and a 1946 graduate of Harrisville High School.
Mrs. Riddle was a member of the Harrisville United Methodist Church and the Harrisville American Legion Auxiliary and a former member of the Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
Her husband, David G. Riddle, whom she married Jan. 1, 1948, died Dec. 13, 1990.
Surviving are a daughter, Evelyn J. "Chook" Weiss and her husband, Edward E., of Slippery Rock; a son, Douglas C. Riddle and his former spouse, Christina, of Naples, Fla.; three granddaughters, Jenny Kopp and her husband, Dennis, Rhonda Sankey and her husband, J.R., and Carrie A. Riddle; a grandson, Adam L. Riddle; three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Emma and Kaden; two step-grandchildren, Shannon Griffin and Troy Griffin; three step-great-grandchildren, McKenna, Taylor and Price; four sisters, Mary Louse Snyder Weitzel of Grove City, Dorothy Robb and her husband, Kenneth, of Greenville, Bulah "Tootie" Gilmore and her husband, Wilfred, of Roswell, N.M., and Alice Cooper and her husband, Marion, of Pioneer, Ohio; and two brothers, Robert "Skip" Owen of Grove City and Frank Owen of Newark, Texas.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry J. Riddle and his wife, Beverly J. Riddle, who died Dec. 5, 1992.
<B>RIDDLE </B> Friends of Ilo J. Riddle, who died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Jamison Funeral Home</B>, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. William E. Hastings of the Harrisville United Methodist Church and the Rev. Willard S. Morse, minister of visitation at Grace United Methodist Church of Grove City, officiating.
