Diana K. DeAngelo, 62, of Butler passed away Sunday at her residence.

Born in Butler, March 16, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Genevieve Massart Strobel.

An insurance adjuster, she retired in March 2002 after having worked for Nationwide Insurance for 22 years and Colonial Penn Insurance for five years.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald E. DeAngelo, to whom she was married for 40 years; one daughter, Mrs. Alex (Darla) Meder of Portersville; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Mark (Dawn) Seezox of Butler; three brothers, Paul Strobel of Butler, Dennis Strobel and his wife, Ruth, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Matthew Strobel, of Butler; three sisters, Mrs. David (Sandra) Bersch of Florida, Mrs. John (Barbara) Hagelstein of New Castle, Del., and Mrs. Terry (Pam) Kradel of Butler; four grandchildren, Marki Seezox of Butler, Erika Seezox of Butler, Michaela Meder of Portersville and Kaitlyn Meder of Portersville; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, Michael DeAngelo, who passed away in 1989; and one sister, Mrs. Linda Rome.

<B>DeANGELO</B> Friends of Diana K. DeAngelo, who died Sunday, April 5, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Father James Dolan, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the St. Michael Cemetery.The bereavement group of St. Michael the Archangel Parish will meet at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Tuesday to conduct a scriptural wake service.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
