Butler teacher charged with sexting 2 students
A suspended English teacher at Butler High School was charged with sending inappropriate text messages to two high school students, including a picture of a female exposing her breasts.
Christine Martin, 33, of Cranberry Township, was arraigned today on corruption of minors and other charges.
School Superintendent Ed Fink said school officials have been aware of the allegations since November, when Martin was suspended without pay from the high School.
Martin's attorney, Bernard Tully, said there is no indication Martin had any inappropriate physical conduct with either student, a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl. But he wouldn't comment on the charges.
Martin faces a preliminary hearing June 25.
