Library kicks off summer reading event
The Butler Area Public Library, 218 N. McKean St., will kicking off its Summer Reading Program with a party at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
There will be crafts, refreshments, prizes and surprises, as the library begins its summer-long celebration of reading and fun.
The whole family can come to enjoy Kelly Armour, who will be presenting "Folk Music is Family Music" at 11 a.m.
This year's Summer Reading Program theme is Be Creative @ Your Library.
