Treada A. Braun
Treada A. Braun, 63, of Bridgewater died Friday in Heritage Valley Beaver after a brief illness.
Born March 30, 1946, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Nelson A. and Stella M. (Setnar) McKissick.
Treada worked as management/waitress in several Beaver area restaurants. She took pleasure in cooking for her family, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves three daughters, Heidi (Wesley) Strickland of Mulberry, Fla., Danette (Kevin) Klingensmith of Evans City and Mary Ann Braun of Bridgewater; a son-in-law, Rick Malovitch of Bridgewater; nine grandchildren, Pamela and Alicia Simmons, Chance Strickland, Nichole, Dustin, Jenna and Angel Klingensmith, and Derek and Storm Malovitch; three sisters, Mary Ann (Leo) Geagan of Butler, Dorothy (Thomas) Nail of Portersville and Linda (Glenn) Pugh of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Treada was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Randi Lynn Klingensmith, who died in September 2008; two brothers, Ralph and Charles McKissick; and most recently, a brother, Nelson L. "Sonny" McKissick, who died Monday, April 27; and a sister, Wanda Anthony, who died Tuesday, April 28.
