Marcink

Eugene P. Marcink Sr., 77, of Clay Township, formerly of Bradford Park and the North Side, Pittsburgh, passed away Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was the son of late John Peter and Bessie (Dyrwal) Marcink.

He was a veteran of the Korean War.

He retired from Allis Chalmers, and he also had worked at LTV Steel and Marcink's Cafe in Conway.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Madeline (Wheeler) Marcink; his children, Richard of Economy, Vicki of St. Petersburg, Fla., Robert of Minooka, Ill., Gary of Ambridge, Eugene Jr. and Pamela of Butler, Christina and Randy Reda of Racine, Wis., and Paula and Kenneth Schoeneweis of Moon Township; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Mary Senchesen of Jamestown and Helen Wyzkoski of Green Cove Springs, Fla., also survive.

He was preceded in death by one brother, John Marcink Jr.

<B>MARCINK</B> — Friends of Eugene P. Marcink Sr., who died Friday, May 1, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>William F. Young Funeral home</B>, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. A Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. George Ukrainian Catholic Church, 3455 California Ave., Pittsburgh. Entombment will follow at the Sylvania Hills Mausoleum in Rochester.
