Patricia L. Revoir
Patricia L. "Pat" (Steighner) Revoir, 75, of Middlesex Township, passed away peacefully Thursday morning at her home surrounded by her family following her courageous battle with multiple myeloma.
Born March 23, 1934, in Herman, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Staples. She also was preceded in death by one beloved daughter, the late Cheryl Revoir, who died Easter Sunday 1979.
As a child, Pat was a volunteer with Holy Sepulcher Church, helping to set up chairs and tables at Leuthardt's Store, where the church originally met. Throughout her life, she was very active with the church, specifically the Woman's Guild Christian Mothers, where she was a past president; Girl Scouts; Mardi Gras; the Labor Day Bazaar, which she chaired for several years; and she taught art to the CCD classes for all 12 grades.
Pat was well known for her painting of angels, locally known as the "Angel Lady," and was world renowned as an artist with her angel work being found in places such as Spain, Italy, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, South America, Africa and Australia.
A member of the Butler Artists Association, she also was on the board of directors of CHAN, the Center for History of American Needlework.
Pat loved to travel and take adventures with her daughters, and remodel and renovate her home with her husband, Bud.
She was the beloved wife for 57 years of Charles O. "Bud" Revoir, whom she married Feb. 9, 1952; loving mother of Charles H. (Cathy) Revoir of South Dakota, Terrel (Chris) Mayse of California, Tammy (Darrel) Clark of Wisconsin, and Lisa (Robert) Sheridan of Adams Township; half-sister of Donna Steighner of California; and dear grandmother of Desiree, Charles, Melanie, Trista, Ryan, Danielle, Ezra, Edward, Brandon, Darrel, Eli, Ahri, Bobby, Amber and Brent. Also surviving are 14 great-grandchildren.

"Pat" (Steighner) Revoir, who died Thursday, May 7, 2009, will welcome friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Schellhaas Funeral Home</B>, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Holy Sepulcher Church, Glade Mills, with Father Albert Semler as celebrant.
