Fallecker

Jennie "Virginia" Fallecker, 81, of Butler died Tuesday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born March 24, 1928, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (Czerkis) Dominsky.

She had worked in the food service department for Butler School District until her retirement in 1993, and she also had catered many banquets and weddings with a dear friend.

Jennie was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler and the Tri-State Country Music Association.

She loved listening to country music, had a very active social life with her many friends and family and was an avid homemaker.

Surviving are two daughters, Joyce Ann Schnur and Donna Fallecker, both of Butler; two grandsons, Kevin Schnur of Butler and Jonathan Schnur of Seattle, Wash.; a sister, Kay Panteleo of Aliquippa, Pa.; a brother, Michael Dominsky of Butler; and seven stepchildren, Bernadette Schnur of Butler, Judy Pappalard of Allison Park, Vincent Fallecker and Eric Fallecker, both of Tucson, Ariz., Rose Fallecker of East Butler, Douglas Fallecker of Fenelton and Lewis Fallecker of Butler. Several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Daniel and John Dominsky.

<B>Fallecker</B> — Friends of Jennie "Virginia" Fallecker, who died Tuesday, May 26, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler. The Rev. Steven Neff, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.The St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:40 a.m. Friday at the church to recite the rosary.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
