Barbara C. Davidson

Barbara C. Davidson, 84, of Butler died peacefully of natural causes Monday, May 11, at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 19, 1924, in Indiana County, the daughter of the late Max Kurzinger and the late Clara (Distler) Kurzinger.

Barbara had been a resident of Butler for the past 32 years. She formerly lived in Clymer, Pa., and Cleveland, Ohio.

She was a homemaker and a grocery store clerk.

She was a member of the Worldwide Church of God for 25 years and looked to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She served the church by being an in-home caretaker for the elderly members.

She enjoyed playing bingo and loved her grandchildren.

Surviving are two sons, John Orgovan and David Davidson; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Nose of Cleveland, Ohio; and a brother, Max Kurzinger of Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kathleen A. (Orgovan) Gressly; brothers, George, Jerome, Ambrose and Anthony Kurzinger; and sisters, Margaret Thayer, Theresa Harvey and Christine Kurzinger.
