Margaret Heslop Blose

Margaret Eldora Heslop Blose, 81, of Fellowship Manor, Grove City, formerly of 748 Eau Claire Road, Harrisville, passed away Thursday at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a brief illness.

Born in Marion Township, July 11, 1927, she was the daughter of George Heslop and Ruth Van Dyke.

She attended Wood Elementary School in Marion Township and attended Harrisville High School.

Mrs. Blose was married July 11, 1947, to Herschel L. Blose, who passed away March 7, 2009.

Mrs. Blose had worked at the Grove Manor Nursing Home, Grove City, as a nurse's aide for a number of years. After retirement, she was a greeter at the Wal-Mart store in Butler and also drove a school bus for Campbell Bus Lines for the Moniteau School District.

Mrs. Blose was a Protestant.

Mrs. Blose enjoyed working with flowers, but most of all enjoyed being with her family.

Surviving are a son, Timothy A. Blose and his wife, Lee Ann, of Mercer; three grandchildren, Mark, Cody and Emily, all of Mercer; one brother, Virgil Heslop of Girard, Ohio; and one sister, Evelyn Aites of Massachusetts.

She was preceded by her parents; her husband; one sister, Grace Groom; two brothers, Ralph and Dallas Heslop; and two grandchildren, Dustin and Justin Blose.

<B>BLOSE</B> — The family of Margaret Eldora Heslop Blose, who died Thursday, May 28, 2009, will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home</B>, 109 Emlenton St., Clintonville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Fleming of the Rocky Springs Church officiating. Interment will take place at the Mount Irwin Cemetery, Irwin Township, Venango County.
