Ruth H. Fugini, 90, of Chicora died at 12:47 p.m. Wednesday in the Chicora Medical Center.

Born in Poland, Ohio, Oct. 1, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Charles Frederick and the late Pearl Robinson Frederick.

For years she was a secretary in the office of Penn Champ Inc. in East Butler in the 1980s.

She was a member of Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church, Chicora. She was a past officer of the Treble Clef Music Club, the Cavendish Bridge Club of Chicora and the Chicora Order of the Eastern Star.

She married William Skidmore, and he died May 7, 1981.

Surviving are her husband, Lewis Fugini, whom she married Feb. 14, 1983; two sons, James R. Skidmore and his wife, Laverne, of Allison Park and C. William Skidmore and his wife, Mary, of Butler; three stepdaughters, Mary Jo Fugini, Linda Draper and her husband, Ron, and Karen Fugini; a stepson, Richard Fugini and his wife, Min-Jae; five grandchildren, David, Christopher, Julie, Keith and Kevin Skidmore; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Frederick.

<B>FUGINI</B> — Friends of Ruth H. Fugini, who died Wednesday, June 3, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>STEIGHNER FUNERAL HOME,</B> 111 E. Slippery Rock and Main streets, Chicora. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 409 N. Main St., Chicora, with the Rev.
