Ann C. Charles, 84, formerly of Aliquippa, died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Evergreen Nursing Center.

Born Oct. 4, 1924, in Aliquippa, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Agnes Mihalick Furdak.

She was a member of the Ohio United Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Daniel S. and Jeannette Charles Jr. of Brighton Township and the Rev. Michael S. and Candy Charles of Portersville; four grandsons, Jeffrey, Douglas, Paul and Johnathan Charles; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Frank Furdak of Hopewell Township.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel S. Charles Sr. on Jan. 17, 1999. They were married on June 23. 1942. Also preceding her in death were four brothers, John, Mike and Joe Furdak; an infant brother; and a sister, Mary Cassasanta.

<B>CHARLES</B> — Friends of Ann C. Charles, who died Thursday, June 9, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the <B>Wayne N. Tatalovich Funeral Home</B>, 2205 McMinn St., Aliquippa. Funeral services will at 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with her son, the Rev. Michael S. Charles, Pastor Jim Hockenberry and Pastor Martin Miller.Arrangements are by <B>Joseph A.
