Thomas C. Brison
Thomas C. Brison, 79, of Kittanning died Monday at ACMH Hospital, Kittanning.
He was born April 10, 1930, in Cabot, to Thomas E. and Jane L. (Whittaker) Brison.
Mr. Brison was a Protestant.
A 1950 graduate of West Winfield High School, he worked at Moonlight Mushrooms, where he was a supervisor of the pack house for 34 years until his retirement in 1985.
He was a member of the Freeport Freemasons Lodge 239.
He enjoyed flower gardening and was known for growing roses. He was an avid sports fan and followed the Penguins and the Steelers, but his true admiration was for his grandchildren and the time they spent together.
He is survived by his wife, Joan (Parks) Brison, who he married Nov. 12, 1953; one daughter, Colette Elaine Farester of Kittanning; one son, Raymond Thomas Brison and his wife, Kristin, of Kittanning; one granddaughter, Emily Brison; one grandson, Owen Brison; one sister, Dorothy M. Powell and her husband, Glenn, of Cadogan; a sister-in-law, Glenna Brison of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Norman Edwin Brison.
<B>BRISON </B>— Friends of Thomas C. Brison, who died Monday, July 13, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services</B>, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Breghenti officiating.
