Paul Leroy Riemer

Paul Leroy Riemer, 77, of West Rockenstein Avenue, went home to be with the Lord at 10:10 p.m. Saturday in his home.

Born May 2, 1932, in Cabot, he was the son of the late William Riemer and Catherine Reinhold Riemer.

Mr. Riemer was a member of Christ's Outreach Church.

He was a machinist for Armco, now AK Steel.

Mr. Riemer was a member of the Armco Bowling League. He enjoyed golfing and bowling. He was a former member of the church board, made CDs of the church sermons and visited the shut-ins. Mr. Riemer enjoyed his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling to the Smoky Mountains.

Mr. Riemer is survived by his wife, Helen D. Riemer, who he married Sept. 27, 1951; a son, Thomas Riemer and his wife, Gayle, of Edgewood, Ky.; two daughters, Shirley Schultz and her husband, Steve, of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Marlene Dickson and her husband, Richard, of Butler; seven grandchildren, Brian Schultz of Fort Wayne, Ind., Andy Riemer and his fiancee, Mandee Mundrick, of Edgewood, Ky., Teresa RiemerSmith and her husband, Lee, of Louisville, Ky., Ryan, Rebecca and Richie Dickson of Butler; three great-grandchildren, Morgan Kaye, Olivia and Evan Schultz of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Anna Jean Richards and her husband, Thomas, of Seven Fields; and a number of nieces and nephews.

<B>Riemer</B> — Friends of Paul Leroy Riemer, who died Saturday, July 18, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St.Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
