Hazel Leah Harbison
Hazel Leah Harbison, 89, of Sarver passed away at 12:20 a.m. Thursday while in the company of family members at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia, Jefferson Township.
Hazel was born in Clinton Township, June 22, 1920, the daughter of the late George Wilbur and Florence Marie (Beggs) Brewer.
She was the widow of Lawrence E. Harbison who passed away in 1966.
Hazel was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Buffalo Township.
She worked as a laborer at Du-Co Ceramics for 22 years retiring in 1988.
Hazel was a member of the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Department Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and reading.
She is survived by her daughter with whom she had lived, Janet (William) Frye; her two sons, Daniel L. (Cindy) Harbison of Buffalo Township and James D. (Colette) Harbison of Beaufort, S.C.; and a sister, Grace (Dave) Thomas of Cabot. Hazel also is survived by her three grandchildren, Jennifer Harbison, Whitney (Patrick) Bundy and Rachael Frye; and a great-grandchild Payton Bundy.
She was preceded by her infant daughter, JoAnn Harbison; two brothers, Allen and Dale Brewer; and her sister, Dorothy Lang.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Howard Greenfield officiating.
