Dorothy Morrow

Dorothy (Hartman) Morrow, 90, of Kittanning, died Friday at Armstrong County Health Center.

She was born March 30, 1919, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Smith Walter and Mary Elizabeth (Slagle) Hartman.

She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star Maqueda Chapter 421 of Butler and the White Shrine 32 of Butler.

She was a 1938 graduate of Kittanning High School. Her husband, Matthew, was a partner of the former Warehouse Electric of Butler.

She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her pets.

Surviving are three nieces, Virginia Heckman (Robert), Muriel Quinn (Frederick) and Beatrice Hartman, all of Kittanning.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Matthew L. Morrow, who she married Oct. 26, 1942, and who died Oct. 1, 1982; and eight brothers.

<B>MORROW</B> — The family of Dorothy (Hartman) Morrow, who died Friday, July 31, 2009, will receive friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at <B>Bauer Funeral Home</B>, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Sherry Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Cochran Cemetery, Boggs Township.
