3:07 a.m. Sunday — Lacey Rose Claypole, 27, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence after her car crashed into a utility trailer parked on Hickory Street.The impact pushed the trailer, which contained two motorcycles and an all-terrain vehicle, about 50 feet onto a sidewalk and into a nearby home's stone wall."The wall was hit with such force," the police report said, "that it was broken apart by the impact."Claypole was arraigned on charges of DUI, driving the wrong way on a one-way street and careless driving, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $1,000 bail.William Dingel of Butler owns the trailer and James Cavalero of Butler owns the stone wall.12:47 a.m. Sunday — Jeffrey Lamantia, 42, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, 44-year-old Sheila Plyler, during a domestic dispute at her East Locust Street apartment. Lamantia is charged with simple assault and harassment.

11:30 p.m. Monday — Someone smashed out the rear windows of two vehicles in the Chesapeake Place parking lot.10:24 a.m. Friday — A 17-year-old Saxonburg boy, who police did not identify, is accused of shoplifting merchandise at the Famous Footwear store in Butler Commons. Police cited the boy for retail theft.

Monday — An unknown burglar stole a cash drawer after breaking into an outbuilding on Meyer's Farm on Route 356 in Winfield Township. A police report did not say how much money was in the drawer. The burglary occurred between 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday.5:50 p.m. Sunday — A 14-year-old Boyers boy was hurt when he crashed and rolled the all-terrain vehicle he was driving on Jamison Road in Venango Township. Aaron T. Gibson was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries.Police said the boy, who was not wearing a helmet, was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.4 a.m. Sunday — An unidentified red vehicle struck a mailbox and utility pole along Route 58 near McJunkin Road in Venango Township and drove away after the crash.Sunday — A set of keys was found at the First National Bank on New Castle Road in Franklin Township. The owner can claim the keys by calling the barracks at 724-284-8100.9:26 p.m. Saturday — Edward J. McGowan, 77, of Karns City was hurt when he swerved his car to avoid a van and crashed into a ditch at Hooker and Wright roads in Concord Township. McGowan was taken with moderate injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital.Police said Rose A. Karenbauer, 83, of Butler, who was driving the van, was cited for a stop sign violation.Saturday — Four people were arrested for driving under the influence during a DUI checkpoint in Slippery Rock. Additionally, four people were arrested on drug-related charged and seven others cited for underage drinking.Saturday — Two Galaxy brand citizens band radios and an Iway navigation system were stolen from a pair of trucks at Gardenscape Transportation on Route 38 in Allegheny Township. The property, valued at $1,050, was taken between 3 p.m. Friday and 11:30 a.m. Saturday.Saturday — An unspecified lawn ornament was stolen from a Bonniebrook Road home in Jefferson Township. The theft occurred between 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.11:20 p.m. Friday — Two people were hurt when a car driven by Daniel B. McCarriher, 18, of Ambridge, Beaver County, crashed into a guardrail on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.McCarriher and Jessica L. Gardner, 20, of Mercer, a passenger, were treated for minor to moderate injuries at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.9:10 p.m. Friday — Ronald J. Jardin II, 37, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI after a passenger fell off Jardin's ATV on Simon Drive in Summit Township. Gordon L. Oesterling, 46, of Butler, the passenger, was flown by medical helicopter with moderate injuries to Allegheny General Hospital.5:45 p.m. Friday — Jeffrey Linton, 48, of Marion Township is accused of committing his second protection from abuse violation in less than two days when he showed up to mow the grass at Patricia Linton's Allison Road home in Marion Township.The suspect about 10 p.m. Thursday was cited for his first PFA violation when he tried to get into the garage at Patricia Linton's home.11:38 a.m. Friday — Jesse Cousins, 25, of Butler was arrested for allegedly assaulting 28-year-old Joelle Thorhauer of Petrolia during an altercation at a Hoon Road home in Oakland Township. Cousins is charged with simple assault.Friday — A 9-year-old Connoquenessing boy was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital after a car hit his bicycle in Connoquenessing.The boy, who police did not identify, was hit when he failed to yield to traffic while riding the bike from a driveway. The child rode in front of the car driven by Suzanne R. Sorce, 44, of Butler.The boy was taken to Children's Hospital; his condition was not known this morning.Thursday — Someone between Sept. 1 and Thursday tampered with 30-year-old Justin Lee Herp's car, in a failed attempt to ignite a fire when Herp started the vehicle at his Bennett Drive home in Franklin Township.8:25 p.m. Wednesday — Jeffrey L. Toy, 48, of Cowansville, Armstrong County, was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his motorcycle crashed into a row of mailboxes and traveled into a creek along Hinchberger Road in Summit Township.Toy, who was wearing a helmet, was taken with minor injuries to Allegheny General Hospital.

1:20 p.m. Monday — A car driven by Dennis Kotal, 53, of Worthington crashed into an embankment on Huston Road near Route 66 in Manor Township. Police said Kotal was cited for driving at an unsafe speed.5:32 p.m. Sunday — Mark Kaiser, 51, of Templeton was arrested for allegedly shooting several guns and gun powder cannon into and over the Allegheny River in Templeton. Police said a number of occupied boats were in the river at the time.Kaiser was arraigned on charges of reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, and placed in the Armstrong County Jail.

2:05 a.m. Sunday — Christopher Douglas Noel, 42, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Hendersonville and Yankee School roads in Sandy Lake Township.4 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Michael D. Lynn, 30, of Grove City struck the side of a utility trailer being towed by a sport utility vehicle on Route 208 near Princeton Road in Pine Township.Cynthia Jenkins, 53, of Conneautville, Crawford County, was driving the SUV.The crash forced a third vehicle, a car driven by Sean M. Winger, 32, of Grove City, off the road and into an embankment. Police said Lynn was cited for careless driving.9:25 a.m. Saturday — Cars driven by Thelma R. Rust, 79, and Todd J. Budnik, 19, both of Grove City, collided on Cranberry Road in Pine Township. Both drivers suffered minor injuries.
