Fred W. Hart, 86, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Butler, died July 21, 2009.

He was a World War II veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 252, Seminole, Fla.

Surviving are his wife, Gladys Hart; a daughter, Donna Swope; a stepdaughter, Kim Stauber; a sister, Mildred Currey; grandchildren, Karen Minot and Kristi, Kendra and Robert Swope; nieces and nephews, Cathy Zimmerman and Lynne, Chris and Dave Currey; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and great-grandchildren.

Services were in Florida.
