Variety of arts bloom at Saxonburg fest
SAXONBURG — A strolling clown, jazz music and a ventriloquist will dot the venues at the 24th Saxonburg Festival of the Arts planned for Saturday and Sunday on Main Street and in Roebling Park.
A 5K race/walk will kick off events at 8 a.m. Saturday.
Exhibits will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Admission and parking are free. The event is sponsored by the Saxonburg Historical & Restoration Commission. For more information, call 724-352-3024.
Highlighting the festival will be the numerous craft exhibits, art, ikebana and photography exhibits, daily musical performances, a variety of food, a Kids Corner, and gas engine and antique tractor exhibits.
