Tanya Lee "Tan" Flinner, 16, of Cranberry Township died Wednesday.

Born May 9, 1993, in McCandless Township, she was the daughter of John C. and Michelle A. (Dourlain) Flinner of Cranberry Township.

Tan attended the Mars Alliance Church and was a very popular student at Seneca Valley High School, where she would have entered her junior year this fall.

She was a member of the Seneca Valley volleyball team and was a dance student at Studio 19 in Cranberry Township. Tan also had aspirations of becoming a race car driver.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Taylor N. "Tay" Flinner of Cranberry Township; her maternal grandmother, Lorraine Dourlain of Cranberry Township; her paternal grandparents, John C. and Eleanor L. Flinner of West Deer Township; and her lifelong friend, Brooke Ann Kohan of Gibsonia. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, "Pappy Kuku" Albert Dourlain.

<B>FLINNER</B> — Friends of Tanya Lee "Tan" Flinner, who died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home </B>of Cranberry Township, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Mars Alliance Church, 997 Route 228, Mars. Friends should meet at the church.
