Richard W. Diehl

Richard W. Diehl, 58, of Wilmington, Del., formerly of Butler, died Aug. 15 at Christiana Hospital in Wilmington.

Born in Butler, July 23, 1951, he was the son of Richard K. and Dorothy S. Diehl.

Richard graduated from Butler High School and Penn State University. He taught at Wilmington Christian School.

He is survived by his mother; his wife, Terri LeRoy Diehl of Wilmington; three sons, Nathan S. and Benjamin W., both of Wilmington, and Simeon W., currently in Daejeon, South Korea; a brother and his wife, Charles W. and Julee Vargo Diehl of Butler; two sisters, Barbara Diehl of New Castle and Claudia Trusel and her husband, Barry Trusel, of Shippensburg, Pa; three nephews; and two nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father and an infant brother, John.

<B>DIEHL </B>— Memorial services for Richard W. Diehl, who died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009 will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Emmanuel Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 1006 Wilson Road, Wilmington.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Delaware Chapter National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2 Mill Road, Suite 106, Wilmington, DE 19806.
