Margiree Saylor

Margiree A. Texter Saylor, 84, of Bruin, passed away peacefully in her home Monday morning.

Born Oct. 29, 1924, in Perry Township, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Mary Edna Troutman Texter.

Margiree was married to Daniel E. Saylor on Dec. 18, 1943, and he died Sept. 27, 1984.

She was protestant by faith.

She retired from the custodial department of the Karns City High School and was a housekeeper and caregiver for the late Dick Steele family.

Margiree was a member of the Bruin V.F.D. Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by two daughters, Joyce (William) Fair of Parker and Janice (Larry) Felix of Parker; three sons, William David (Debbie) Saylor of Beaumont, Texas, Jack (Nancy) Saylor of Bruin, and Daniel E. (Sasiwan) Saylor of Lompoc, Calif; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister and seven brothers. She was the last surviving sibling.

<B>SAYLOR</B> — Friends of Margiree A. Texter Saylor, who died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009 will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>H.
