Charles C. Parsell

Charles C. Parsell, 76, of Manor Township, Armstrong County, died Wednesday at his residence.

He was born March 1, 1933, in White Township, Indiana County, a son of the late Clyde and Olive (Pennington) Parsell.

Mr. Parcel formerly worked at the Middlesex Hospital of New Jersey and enjoyed working around his house.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Watt) Parsell; a daughter, Roxanne Ferrell of Kittanning; two sons, Chuck Parsell and his fiancee, Nancy Arble, of Kittanning and Ernie (Lorie) Parsell of Ford City; two sisters, Myrna (Bob) Reesman of Dayton and Shirley McNamara of West Seneca, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Misty Davin, Shalaina Ivanichenko, Kelly Parsell, Rick Watt and Melanie Cousins; and three great-grandchildren, Chandler Cousins, Shelby Watt and Nikolai Ivanichenko.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Parsell, Richard Parsell, Paul Parsell and Melvin Parsell; a sister, Betty Rose Parsell; a granddaughter, Lynette Parsell; and a grandson, Ernest Parsell Jr.

<B>PARSELL </B>— Friends of Charles C. Parsell, who died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the <B>WELCH FUNERAL HOME</B>, 1032 Fourth Ave., Ford City, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev.
