9:55 p.m. Thursday — Cars driven by Christopher Diaz, 21, and Erica Hoehn, 22, both of Butler collided at Main and Wayne streets. Hoehn was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Police said Diaz was cited for a left-turn violation.
Saturday — An unknown burglar knocked a 19-inch television set from its stand after breaking into a Route 19 apartment in Portersville. A police report did not say if any property was stolen.
4:13 p.m. Sunday — A car driven by Simone J. Miller, 19, of Warren, Ohio, rear-ended another car on Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. Police said Miller was cited for careless driving. Lecrisha Mattox, 24, of Butler was the other driver.Saturday — Someone stole eight pieces of treated well casing and other pieces of heavy iron from Stewart Well Drilling on Mill Bridge Road near Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County. The property, valued at $1,200, was taken between 5:30 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday.7:01 p.m. Oct. 10 — Marc Boots, 39, of New Castle was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his truck crashed into a ditch on Cooper Road in Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County.
