Sanders 60th anniversary
Jack and Anne Sanders of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner Oct. 10 at the Garden Gate Restaurant in Butler.
Sanders married the former Anne Rodgers on Sept. 12, 1949, at St. John Catholic Church.
They have six children, Terry Bevelacqua of Richland, Wash., Carol Borderud of Lansing, Kan., Kathy Sanders of Boston, David Sanders of Fredericksburg, Va., John Sanders of Cabot and Mark Sanders of Grove City, Ohio.
They also have 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Sanders is retired from Investor's Diversified Services (IDS), where he was a financial planner. He also is retired as the manager of
Mobile and Amoco gas stations. He is a World War II veteran. He is a member of the Elks Club, Knights of Columbus and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoys golfing and gardening.Mrs. Sanders is a homemaker and retired secretary at Penn Champ Oil and the Butler School District.The Sanderses are members of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
