Four Butler County football teams learned their first-round opponent at the WPIAL pairings meeting Monday night.

All games will be played at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Class AAAA

Seneca Valley (5-4) will play Central Catholic (7-2) at Fox Chapel.

Class AAA

Mars (6-3) will host Trinity (4-5) while Knoch (3-6) will square off at West Allegheny (7-2).

Class AA

Freeport (8-1) will host Greensburg Central Catholic (7-2).

PITTSBURGH — No. 19 Notre Dame's Nov. 14 football game at 14th-ranked Pittsburgh will kick off at 8 p.m. and will be one of two games televised then by ABC.The network will also show the Texas Tech-Oklahoma State game to part of the country.The Notre Dame-Pitt time no doubt is of interest to the Cincinnati Bengals and the Steelers. The teams will play an important AFC North game on Heinz Field's grass field less than 14 hours after the college game ends.Notre Dame hasn't played at Pitt since winning there 42-21 on Sept. 3, 2005 — Charlie Weis' first game as the Fighting Irish's coach and Dave Wannstedt's first at Pittsburgh.

The Seneca Valley girls soccer team (19-0-1) will face Canon-McMillan (16-5) in a WPIAL Class AAA semifinal game at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Chartiers Valley High.
